§ 53.22 LICENSE APPROVAL.
   Before any commercial garbage hauler’s license shall be issued, renewed, or transferred under the provisions of this subchapter, the same shall first be approved by the City Council. Once approved, licensed commercial garbage haulers must begin commercially transporting garbage within seven days of the date of issuance of the license. The failure to begin transporting garbage within the said seven days shall cause the license to be revoked. Approval by the City Council of renewals and proof by the commercial garbage hauler of certification by the Sioux Falls Health Department/Runge Landfill shall be performed on an annual basis.
