After the applicant has complied with all conditions precedent to the issuance of a gasfitter’s, gasfitting contractor’s, appliance installer’s, or appliance installation contractor’s license, and after the approval of the bond and insurance where required and the granting of such license to the applicant by the City Council, the City Finance Officer shall issue to such person a certificate of license, which, in the case of gasfitting contractors and appliance installation contractors, shall give the name under which the gasfitting contractor or appliance installation contractor will conduct business and the existing or proposed place of business; and in the case of gasfitters and appliance installer shall give his or her or their name and place of residence and the name of the contractor that employs him or her. All licenses shall show the date of issuance and the date of expiration of the same and such other information as may be deemed advisable. Such license shall entitle licensee to do business as before defined.
