(a) The granting of child day-care home permit shall not constitute directly or indirectly a recommendation as to suitability, or assumption of responsibility for the quality of care, nor for any loss, injury or damage which may arise out of or relate to the placement of any child with a child day-care home provider, by the City or its officials, officers, employees, or agents. The granting of a permit means that on the day the permit was issued, the applicant met the requirements cited herein based upon the information then available.
(b) It shall be the responsibility of the provider, parents and/or legal guardians to monitor daily compliance with applicable regulations and to report violations to the City Police Department, or Mayor for further investigation.
(c) All records pertaining to child day-care homes, except those designated by this Chapter or otherwise by law, shall be available for public inspection by any person during business hours of the City.
