(a) The provider shall be responsible for the child's safety while child care is being provided.
(b) No child shall ever be left unsupervised.
(c) When inside the home, all children in the provider's care shall be within sight or hearing of the provider at all times.
(d) There shall be immediate access at all times to a working telephone within the home.
(e) The provider shall have written permission from the parent before a child is permitted to participate in swimming activities.
(f) The provider shall immediately notify either the City Police Department or the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services, when the provider suspects that a child has been abused or neglected.
(g) Emergency Caregivers.
(1) The permit holder shall provide the City and parents and/or guardians of children in his/her care, with a list of at least two (2) persons who shall serve as emergency caregivers.
(2) The emergency caregivers may provide child care services for a maximum of one (1) day due to an unplanned absence by the provider as a result of unanticipated circumstances such as illness, accident or other family crisis.
(3) The emergency caregiver shall be eighteen (18) years old, but need not meet the requirements set forth in Section 767.06.
(4) The provider shall contact the parents or guardian immediately when an emergency caregiver is used.
