The purpose of this subchapter is to establish regulations for the use of privately-owned dwelling units as short-term rentals to protect residents' quality of life, building safety for the occupants, ensure proper collection and remittance of taxes, and to address nuisances, parking, trespassing, and other potential negative impacts relating to short-term rentals.
