The purpose of this chapter is to establish regulations for the use of certain privately owned commercial campgrounds in order to protect the health, safety and welfare of campground occupants and citizens of the county, ensure proper collection and remittance of applicable taxes and to address negative impacts relating to noise, parking, traffic, garbage, wastewater disposal, potable drinking water sources and other common occurrences resulting from certain types of campgrounds.
