(A) Any dog, other than a vicious dog, as defined herein, may be redeemed and taken from such pound by the owner or by any other authorized person upon paying any associated fines. Impounded dogs shall be redeemed no later than two weeks. Any impounded dog not redeemed within two weeks after impounding shall be placed for adoption.
(B) An impounding fee plus the fee for care of the dog shall apply to the first and second times that any particular dog is impounded. On the third time such dog is impounded, it shall be placed for adoption and the owner may be found guilty of an infraction.
