(A) The Garden City District Area #1, which is known as the Ford-Middlebelt Urban Renewal Project, as defined in Public Act 189 of 1968, being M.C.L.A. 125.74, shall be development area bounded by the following streets.
(1) On the north by Maplewood Avenue.
(2) On the south by Ford Road.
(3) On the east by Central Street.
(4) On the west by Middlebelt Road.
(B) All of the development area is located in the city and is legally described as follows.
A parcel of land in the SW ¼ of Section 12, the SE ¼of Section 11, the NE ¼of Section 14, and the NW ¼ of Section 13 T. 2S., R 9E., Garden City, Wayne County, Michigan; more particularly described as beginning at the point of intersection of the south line of Ford Road, 120 feet wide, and the west line of Middlebelt Road, 120 feet wide and proceeding northerly along the west line of Middlebelt Road to a point on the north line of Lot 26A of Assessor's Folker's Little Farms Subdivision as extended; thence easterly along the north line of said Lot 26a as extended a distance of approximately 480 feet; thence northerly a distance of approximately 154 feet to the south line of Maplewood Avenue; thence easterly a distance of approximately 260 feet to the east line of Central Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence southerly along the east line of Central Avenue, 30 feet wide, and the extension thereof to the south line of Ford Road; thence westerly along the south line of Ford Road to the point of beginning.
