A person or business permitted under this chapter shall be subject to the following conditions:
(A) Compliance with the requirements of this chapter, other applicable City ordinances and codes and applicable state laws.
(B) Compliance with the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act.
(C) Shall obtain all necessary state and local license/permits before commencing operations and shall maintain a valid license/permit during operation.
(D) Shall only conduct all activity granted by the permit on a site that is in compliance with all applicable City of Garden City Zoning Ordinance regulations.
(E) Shall only display signs on the exterior and interior of the property that are in compliance with all applicable sign ordinance regulations.
(F) Consumption or use of marijuana is prohibited on the premises.
(G) No persons under the age of 18 shall be allowed within any medical marihuana facility, unless the individual is a qualifying patient and accompanied by his/her primary caregiver- parent or documented legal guardian.
(H) No controlled substances shall be kept stored or distributed on site where Michigan Medical Marijuana Act assessments and/or certifications take place.
(I) An individual or business receiving a permit to grow marijuana as a primary caregiver shall be subject to the following additional conditions:
(1) Shall only be allowed to grow the maximum number of plants permitted for each qualifying patient to whom they are connected through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs' registration process.
(2) The maximum allowed number of qualify patients connected to a primary caregiver shall be five as cited in the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act, Sec. 6(d), MCL 333.26426 et seq.
(3) Shall provide a copy of the registry identification card for each qualifying patient that the primary caregiver is connected through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs' registration process at the time of permit application.
(4) Shall notify the City Clerk when the primary caregiver is newly connected with a qualifying patient and provide a copy of the registry identification cards for any new qualifying patients.
(5) Shall notify the City Clerk when a qualifying patient is no longer connected with the primary caregiver.
