(A) A license shall be issued to the owner of a massage parlor if he agrees to conform to the rules and regulations set forth in this chapter and to employ as operators only those persons who are licensed by the Department of Health under this chapter. The license shall be granted only after an inspection has been made by a representative of the Department of Health, and the type, location, and sanitary condition of the premises and equipment approved. (B) Every massage parlor shall, at reasonable business hours, be held open for inspection by duly authorized representatives of city departments concerned with the licensing and supervision of such establishments. The Department of Health shall have general sanitary supervision thereof. Other supervision of the same shall be directed by the other city departments concerned. (‘83 Code, § 122.12)
