The City Clerk is authorized to grant a license to any person of good character, or to any copartnership or corporation, to engage in the pet shop business in the city, upon compliance with the general licensing provisions of the city code and upon the payment of the license fee, charged in accordance with the Comprehensive Fee Schedule in Chapter 12 of this Code. The license shall cover one place of business, which shall be stated therein. Every license shall expire on March 31 of each year.
