§ 116.023 BUILDING REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Each licensee shall do the following.
      (1)   At all times open each and every portion of the licensed premises for inspection by the Police Department and/or other city departments for the purpose of enforcing any other provisions of this subchapter or other ordinances relating to the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
      (2)   At all times display the license granted hereunder in a conspicuous place near the entrance to the licensed establishment.
      (3)   Provide proper ventilation, either natural or mechanical so that each person in the hall will be supplied with 1,200 cubic feet of air per hour.
      (4)   Provide sufficient toilet conveniences so that there will be at least one women's toilet in good sanitary condition per 2,000 square feet of floor space or fraction thereof; at least one men's toilet and urinal in good sanitary condition per 4,000 square feet of floor space or fraction thereof, and provision made for the privacy therein; at least one wash stand in each toilet provided with soap and sanitary towels.
      (5)   At all time provide adequate lighting in every part of the licensed premises.
      (6)   Provide at least one sanitary drinking fountain, either on the dance floor or reasonably accessible thereto for each 4,000 square feet of floor space or fraction thereof. The sanitary drinking fountain shall not be located with the toilet rooms.
      (7)   Provide sufficient fire exits free from all rubbish and inflammable materials as required by the regulations of the State Fire Marshal and/or ordinances of the city.
   (B)   No license shall be issued for any place in which public dances are to be held unless the building code, fire code, and other pertinent ordinances required by the city, as far as can be determined, are being complied with.
