The pension reserve fund is continued. It shall be the fund from which all pensions payable as provided in this chapter shall be paid. Should a disability retirant be returned to service, his pension reserve, computed as of the date of his return to service, shall be transferred from the pension reserve fund to the pension savings fund and pension accumulation fund in the same proportion as the original transfers were made. The amount transferred to the pension savings fund shall be credited to the member's individual account therein.
