(A)
No person shall be accepted into the Fire Department prior to attaining the age of 21 years at the time of his acceptance. Retirement age requirements shall be subject to Chapter 36 of this code, the Employees Retirement System.
(B) All members of the Fire Department must pass a complete physical examination, psychological examination, and written and physical ability testing (CPAT) prior to their acceptance into either of the above mentioned departments.
