In addition to the enforcement actions set forth herein, the Tree Commission shall determine and recommend to the Village Council such policies, procedures and expenditures, including as needed, amendment to this subchapter, which will foster the planting and nurturance of trees and wooded areas within the village on both private and public properties, including the identification of suitable tree types and species for use in various locations, cost sharing with regard to the purchase and placement of new trees and other actions and policies that will further and enhance the purposes set forth herein.
