The Tree Commission shall consult with and shall be consulted by the Planning and Zoning Commission at least annually to determine whether the current zoning provisions with regard to the protection of woodlands or mature woodlands or other provisions of the zoning regulations as enacted, are sufficient to the protection of trees and wooded areas within the village in a manner consistent with the best interests of the village.
