§ 90.01 PROHIBITING OWNERSHIP OF EXOTIC ANIMALS.
   (A)   No person shall own, keep, possess, transport or harbor within the village corporation limit an exotic animal of any kind, including, but not limited to, any snake, reptile or lizard that is physically capable of causing serious injury to a person by bite, poison, constriction or other means; any lion, tiger, cougar, jaguar, panther, mountain lion, lynx, ocelot, leopard or other non-domesticated feline; any wolf, coyote, jackal, fox, wild dog or hybrid; any bear or bison; or any non-human primate.
   (B)   An exemption to the rule shall be made for any exotic animals used in the research labs at Kenyon College, for research purposes only. The village shall require Kenyon College to provide a list of any exotic animals it uses in the labs for research purposes at the beginning of every school year.
