SCHEDULE I. THROUGH STREETS AND STOP INTERSECTIONS.
   (A)   Through streets.
      (1)   The following streets are hereby designated as through streets provided that stop signs shall be erected at all intersections with such through streets:
 
Acland Street
Allen Drive
Brooklyn Street
Chase Avenue
Chester Lane
Duff Street
Gaskin Avenue
Kokosing Drive
Milner Lane
Rand Drive
Scott Lane
Ward Street
Wiggin Street
Woodside Drive
 
 
      (2)   A permanent all-way stop is established at the intersection of Gaskin Avenue and East Brooklyn Street.
      (3)   The following streets are hereby designated as streets in the village. These streets will have street name signs erected at the intersections. These streets are for emergency use only. No stop signs will be erected at the following intersections:
         (a)   Bennett Lane; and
         (b)   Lepley Lane.
   (B)   Intersections of through streets.
      (1)   Where two or more through streets intersect and no traffic control signal or traffic light is in operation, stop signs shall be erected at one or more entrances thereto. Two stop signs shall be erected on Ward Street on both the north side and south side of West Brooklyn Street making this intersection a four-way stop.
      (2)   Where two or more through streets intersect and no traffic control signal or traffic light is in operation, stop signs shall be erected at one or more entrances thereof. Two stop signs shall be erected on East Brooklyn Street at East Woodside Drive on both sides of the intersection on East Brooklyn Street, making this intersection a four-way stop.
      (3)   Where two or more through streets intersect and no traffic control signal or traffic light is in operation, stop signs shall be erected at one or more entrances thereto. Two stop signs shall be erected on East Woodside Drive on both the east side and west side of Allen Drive making this intersection a three-way stop.
   (C)   Stop signs. Every stop sign shall be an octagon with white message and border on a red background, and shall bear the word STOP in letters not less than six inches in height. Stop signs at three-way or four-way stops shall be supplemented by a separate sign mounted just below it, reading three-way or four-way, as appropriate, in white letters on a red background.
   (D)   Location. Every stop sign shall be located as near as practicable at the property line of the street at the entrance to which the stop must be made, or at the nearest line of the crosswalk thereat, or if none, at the nearest line in the roadway.
   (E)   Operation of vehicle at stop sign. Every operator of a vehicle shall stop at a stop sign or at a clearly marked stop line before entering an intersection except when directed to proceed by a police officer or traffic control signal.
   (F)   Penalty. Whoever violates division (E) of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and fined not more than $50.
