(A) Any application, appeal or other document required or permitted under this chapter or the Ohio Revised Code shall be filed with the Village Administrator or Fiscal Officer Assistant. The date of filing shall be either the date any such document is actually received by the Village Administrator or Fiscal Officer Assistant or the date any required filing fee is received by the Village Administrator or Fiscal Officer Assistant, whichever is later.
(B) Zoning forms are available on the village’s web site or by contacting the Village Administrator or Fiscal Officer Assistant. All applications shall be heard and ruled upon by the Commission, with the exception of applications for a variance from zoning regulations. Village Council has retained the power to grant or deny zoning variances.
(C) The Village Council shall hear an appeal only of the Commission’s disapproval of a final development plan in a PUD application. All other appeals are governed by the Ohio Revised Code, at the time of adoption of this chapter, R.C. §§ 2506.01 et seq.
(D) The applicant is encouraged to meet informally with the Village Administrator prior to filing any zoning application for information regarding this chapter and for filing procedures.
