§ 152.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this Building Code may be subject to a fine in any sum not exceeding $2,500. The assessment of a monetary penalty shall in no way limit the operation of the penalties provided elsewhere in this Building Code.
   (B)   If the Building Commissioner provides written notice to an owner that the owner has failed to install or maintain a placard on the structure in violation of § 152.66, and the owner fails to correct the violation not later than ten business days after receiving the written notice, the owner is liable for a civil penalty of not more than $100 per day during the period beginning ten business days after the owner receives written notice of the violation from the unit and until the date the violation is corrected. A penalty imposed under this section may not exceed $3,000 per structure, per year.
