Elections for the offices of the Town Council members and Clerk-Treasurer shall be conducted during general elections. The terms for the elected offices for the town shall be as follows.
(A) Town Council members. The Town Council shall consist of five members, all of whom shall be elected every four years for a four-year term.
(B) Town Clerk-Treasurer. The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be elected every four years for a four-year term.
(B) Pursuant to I.C. 3-10-7-3, the County Election Board shall conduct elections for the town. The Clerk-Treasurer and the President of the Town Council are authorized to take all action necessary to transfer authority to conduct elections in the county.
(C) Town Council districts or wards are abolished. All members of the Town Council shall be elected at large.
