(A) Creation. There is hereby established a Board of Local Improvements for the city.
(B) Organization. The Board of Local Improvements shall be composed of five members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Council.
(C) Powers and duties. The Board of Local Improvements shall have powers and perform the duties assigned to it under the provisions of Article 9, Division 2 of the Illinois Municipal Code (ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 9-2-1 et seq.), as that division now exists, or as may hereafter be amended.
