The Landmark Commission shall consist of seven members, all of whom shall either 1) be residents of the city or 2) own real estate therein or 3) work for a company whose primary place of business is located within the city. At least one member shall be a licensed real estate salesperson; at least one member shall be a representative of the City Historical Society; at least one member shall be an architect, designer or builder; and the remaining four members at large shall have demonstrated an interest in historic preservation. The Mayor shall appoint, subject to Council approval, the members of the Landmark Commission for terms of three years. Members may serve for more than one term.
