No electrical contractor shall be issued an electrical contractor’s license until a policy or certificate of insurance is provided to the city. This insurance shall insure the contractor for public liability and property damage in an amount of not less than $100,000 for any one person injured, $300,000 for all persons injured and not less than $50,000 for property damage sustained in any one accident.
