(A) Costs of fire suppression services. Any junk yard licensee whose junk yard operation is responsible for or the source of any fire or other circumstance that requires the use of fire suppression services by the city shall be liable for the hourly cost per unit in excess of two hours for each item used in the fire suppression effort, and the cost per unit of all items not billed on an hourly basis, according to the schedule provided pursuant to division (C) of this section.
(B) Statement of costs. A statement describing the costs incurred under division (A) of this section shall be sent to and paid by the junk yard licensee. If the costs described in the statement are not paid within 15 days of the mailing of the statement, the city may proceed to perfect and enforce a ban on the subject premises.
(C) Cost schedule. The official shall maintain a schedule of standard costs incurred by the city for fire suppression services, including labor rates and the cost of tools, equipment, supplies and miscellaneous items utilized in any fire suppression response. The schedule, as may be amended from time to time, shall be available for public inspection at the headquarters of the City Fire Department.
