For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
JUNK DEALER. Any person who maintains a place of business for the purchase or sale of junk, rags, paper, old or salvaged material or similar articles.
PAWNBROKER. Any person engaged in the business of receiving property in pledge or as security for money or some other thing advanced to the pawner or pledgor.
SECONDHAND STOREKEEPER. Any person who maintains a place of business for the purchase or sale of secondhand household goods.
USED GOODS DEALER. Any junk dealer, pawnbroker or secondhand storekeeper.
