The permittee shall prosecute with diligence and expedition all excavation work covered by the excavation permit and shall promptly complete the work and restore the street, sidewalk, driveway, curb or gutter to its original condition, as near as may be, if agreed as such by the City Engineer, as soon as is practicable.
