(A) At Section 101.1, delete the words [name of jurisdiction] and insert instead the words “City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois, a municipal corporation.”
(B) At Section 108.1, Board of Appeals Established, delete the existing language and insert instead the following:
Any person shall have the right to appeal a decision of the code official to the Overall Code Review Commission, as established in Chapter 33 of the Galesburg Municipal Code.
(C) At Section 307.2, amend the first sentence so that as amended it reads as follows:
A permit shall be obtained from the fire code official in accordance with Section 105.6 prior to kindling a fire for recognized silvicultural or range or wildlife management practices, prevention or control of disease or pests, bonfires, or recreational fires on the ground.
(D) At Section 505.1, Address Numbers, delete the existing language and insert instead the following:
Addressing shall be in accordance with § 97.002 of the Galesburg Municipal Code.
(E) At Section 109.4 delete the words “of a [SPECIFY OFFENCE], punishable by a fine of not more than [AMOUNT] dollars or by imprisonment not exceeding [NUMBER OF DAYS], or both such fine and imprisonment” and insert instead the words “subject to penalties as prescribed by law”.
(F) At Section 111.4 delete the words “liable to a fine of not less than [AMOUNT] dollars or more than [AMOUNT] dollars” and insert instead “subject to penalties as prescribed by law”.
