§ 30.04 PRESIDING OFFICER.
   The Mayor shall preside at all Council meetings and, in his or her absence, the Deputy Mayor shall preside. The Deputy Mayor shall be elected by the Council at its first regular meeting following April 1 of each year. In case the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor are both absent, the Council shall elect a chairperson pro tem.
