Upon the selection of lot or site by the prospective buyer, the cemetery sexton shall fill out a “certificate of intent” to purchase a lot or portion of lot, keeping a copy for himself or herself, giving a copy to purchaser, and two copies to the City Clerk. sexton and Clerk shall put their copies in a file to be examined on the fifteenth day of the following month; the proposed sale is considered void if purchaser has not paid for the lot in that time; or paid a third down and signed conditional sales contract for balance to be paid in one year.
