§ 92.16 DESIGNATION OF BURIAL AREAS.
   The lots in Linwood Cemetery included in Block 73, in the original plat of the cemetery, and Block 10 of Section C of the East Linwood Cemetery, shall be reserved for and appropriated to the burial of persons who do not have other grounds provided for them. The north one-half of Block 1, in Linwood Cemetery, is hereby reserved as the site for a chapel, office and shop in the Linwood Cemetery, and those grounds shall be henceforth reserved and dedicated to this use. Lots 3 and 4 in Block 40 shall be reserved for the burial of persons who have received the care and attention of the City Young Men’s Christian Association, and are buried at the expense of the Association. Lots 5, 6, 7 and 8, Block 9, shall be reserved for the use of the James T. Shields Post Number 45, Grand Army of the Republic, of this city, for the burial of soldiers and sailors and any other purposes as they may be put to by the Post. Block 1 and Block 2 of Section E and all of Section G in East Linwood Cemetery shall be reserved for the use of war veterans of the United States of America, in accordance with Special Ordinance No. 384. The east one-half of Lot 1 in Block 61 shall be reserved for the use of the Mother Bickerdyke Memorial Association, to be used for burial purposes and for the purpose of erecting suitable monuments and memorials to the late Mary A. Bickerdyke. Lot 31 in Block 57 in Linwood Cemetery is hereby reserved and appropriated for the use of the Ralph M. Noble Post No. 285, American Legion, of this city, for the burial of soldiers and sailors and any other purposes as it may be used by the Post. The residue of the lots and blocks of the cemetery shall be reserved for the use and possession of the families and persons, and those only, as have heretofore and shall hereafter become purchasers of the same, to be used by them as places of burial for the dead, and for no other purposes whatever.
