§ 94.09 FORECLOSURE.
   (A)   Foreclosure. A lien under this chapter may be enforced by proceedings to foreclose.as in the case of mortgages or mechanic’s liens. The costs of foreclosure incurred by the municipality, including court costs, reasonable attorney’s fees, advances to preserve the property, and other costs related to the enforcement of this chapter plus statutory interest, are a lien on the real estate and are recoverable by the municipality from the owner or owners of the real estate.
   (B)   This section is applicable to the following nuisances, unless otherwise specified herein:
      (1)   For weed violations must be commenced within two years after the date of filing the notice of lien.
      (2)   Prairie plot violations must be commenced within two years after the date of filing the notice of lien.
      (3)   Pests violations must be commenced within two years after the date of filing the notice of lien.
      (4)   Trash, debris, graffiti violations must be commenced within two years after the date of filing the notice of lien.
