All rental units must meet certain minimum living standards for the safety and protection of the tenants. All rental units are hereby required to conform to the minimum standards outlined in §§ 150.150 and 150.165 through 150.170 of the city code which are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference. All rental units are required to conform to state and city code laws governing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Any landlord or person owning a rental unit which does not meet these standards is in violation of this subchapter.
