§ 113.004 LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER.
   (A)   Authority. The Mayor shall be the Local Liquor Control Commissioner and shall be charged with the administration of all ordinances and resolutions relating to alcoholic liquor. The Mayor may appoint a person to assist him or her in the exercise of the powers and the performance of the duties herein provided for the Local Liquor Control Commissioner.
   (B)   Power. The Local Liquor Control Commissioner will have the powers granted to that position by this chapter and the Liquor Control Act of 1934 (ILCS Ch. 235, Act 5, §§ 1-1 et seq.) as amended, including the power to grant or suspend for no more than 30 days or revoke for cause all local licenses issued to persons for premises within the jurisdiction of the Local Liquor Control Commissioner.
