§ 36.28 RESIGNATION OF EMPLOYEES.
   (A)   Any employee wishing to leave the municipal service in good standing shall file with his department head, at least 14 days before leaving, a written resignation stating the effective date of the resignation and the reasons for leaving. Failure to comply with this procedure will be considered cause for denying such employee future employment by the municipality and for denying terminal leave benefits.
   (B)   Unauthorized absence from work for a period of three working days may be considered by the Mayor as a resignation without benefits.
