§ 33.57 COMPOSITION.
   (A)   The Public Safety Committee shall consist of six members nominated by the Mayor and appointed by the City Council. One member of the Committee shall be the Mayor and/or a Council member. All members shall be qualified by training, education, experience or activity in public safety issues and shall represent a cross section of the residences and businesses of the city.
   (B)   The term of service for the remaining five Public Safety Committee members appointed at large shall be three years. Initially, however, one member shall be appointed for a two-year term, two members appointed for a one-year term and two members appointed for a three-year term. Thereafter, all members shall be appointed for a three-year term. Any vacancies shall be filled by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the City Council, for the unexpired term.
