§ 33.13 SUPERINTENDENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.
   (A)   There is hereby created the office of Superintendent of Special Assessments. The Mayor shall be the Superintendent of Special Assessments unless he appoints a resident of the city to serve in this office.

   (B)   The Superintendent of Special Assessments, other than the Mayor, may be appointed to the Board of Local Improvements, and he shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and shall receive such compensation as the Council may fix from time to time.
