§ 31.88 ASSISTANTS.
   The City Engineer shall have such assistants, who shall be subject to his control and who shall perform such duties as he shall designate, as the City Council may provide. Such assistants shall be appointed by the Mayor, by and with the advice and consent of the City Council. Such assistants shall not be required to give bond unless otherwise provided by the City Council.
