(A) The duties of City Attorney shall be to attend all regular and special meetings of the City Council and give such legal advice to the Council or to any Councilmember, the Mayor or any other city official that shall be requested of him including a written opinion on appropriate legal matters as they may arise, to prepare all ordinances and resolutions that may be required or desired and to be available for consultation for legal advice to the Mayor, any Councilmember or any other city official.
