The City Treasurer shall be responsible to the Director of Accounts and Finances for the collection, custody and disbursements of public moneys, subject to governing provisions of this code and state statute and perform those functions, acts and duties required of his office by state statute. He shall report monthly all moneys received, disbursed and held by him for the various funds and activities and on deposit in the official depository as designated by the City Council.
