(A) Building code. The town hereby adopts the International Building Code, 2009 edition, including appendices, as amended and modified in O.A.C. 748:20-1-1 through 748:20-15-16, at least one copy of which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer. Such code shall be in full force and effect within the town to the same extent as if set forth in full in this division (A).
(B) Existing building code. The town hereby adopts the International Existing Building Code, 2009 edition, including appendices, as amended and modified in O.A.C. 748:20-1-1 through 748:20-15-16, as and for the existing building code of the town regulating and governing the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition and relocation of existing buildings, including, but not limited to, historic buildings, as herein provided; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said existing building code, at least one copy of which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof. Such code shall be in full force and effect within the town to the same extent as if set forth in full in this division (B).
(C) Residential code for one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses. The town hereby adopts the International Residential Code for One- and Two-family Dwellings and Townhouses, 2009 edition, including appendices, as amended and modified in O.A.C. 748:20-5-1 through 20-5-23, at least one copy of which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer. Such code shall be in full force and effect within the town to the same extent as if set forth in full in this division (C); provided, however, that in the event of a conflict between any provision of such code and any provision of the ordinances of the town, the latter shall govern.
