All that portion of the city embraced within the following described boundary is declared to be within the fire limits of the city; beginning at a point on the western boundary of the city due west of the centerline of Sixth Avenue in the city and running thence east to the centerline of Sixth Avenue; running thence east along and upon the centerline of Sixth Avenue to the centerline of Fourth Street; running thence south along and upon the centerline of Fourth Street to the centerline of Eighth Avenue; running thence east along and upon the centerline of Eighth Avenue to the centerline of Fifth Street; running thence south along and upon the centerline of Fifth Street to the centerline of Thirteenth Avenue; running thence west along and upon the centerline of Thirteenth Avenue to the centerline of Third Street; running thence south along and upon the centerline of Third Street to the southern boundary of the city; running thence west along and upon the southern boundary of the city to the western boundary of the city; running thence northerly with the western boundary of the city to the place of beginning.
