(A) It is the duty of the owner and the occupant of every house, building or structure in the city to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street, figures at least two and one-half inches high, showing the number of such house or building.
(B) Any person, firm or corporation failing to so number any house, building or other structure occupied by him or her, after receiving notice from the City Clerk to so number, shall be fined in the sum of $1 for each day during or on which a failure to so number continues.
