§ 111.02 LOCAL LIQUOR CONTROL COMMISSIONER.
   (A)   The Mayor shall be the Local Liquor Control Commissioner and shall be charged with the administration of the appropriate provisions of this subchapter and such other ordinances or resolutions of the city relating to alcoholic liquor as may be enacted. He or she may appoint a person or persons to assist him or her in the exercise of the powers and the performance of the duties herein provided for the Local Liquor Control Commissioner.
   (B)   The Local Liquor Control Commissioner, with the approval of a majority of the City Council, may adopt local rules and regulations for hearings to determine whether any license should be suspended, terminated or revoked.
   (C)   The Local Liquor Control Commissioner shall have all of the powers as provided by the laws of the state of Illinois, including closing an establishment for nonpayment of the liquor license fee.
