All sidewalks shall be installed, replaced or repaired according to specifications established by the city. The minimum width in all areas shall be four feet and the minimum thickness shall be four inches. Expansion joints shall be mandatory every 28 feet at a minimum or 40 feet at a maximum. Re-bar shall be a minimum of one-half inch in diameter. Material used to construct the sidewalk shall be concrete, with a 4000 pound per square inch six bag mix minimum.
