§ 91.01 MILK.
   (A)   Pasteurized milk defined.  
      (1)   For the purposes of this section, "pasteurized milk" means milk subjected to one of the following processes:
         (a)   The process of heating every particle of milk to at least 145°F and holding at such temperature for at least 30 minutes;
         (b)   Heating every particle of milk to at least 161°F and holding such temperature at least 15 seconds.
      (2)   Either method shall be carried out only in apparatus approved by the State Department of Health and properly operated. Provided, nothing in this definition shall be considered as disbarring any other process which has been demonstrated to be equally efficient and is approved by the Department of Health.

   (B)   Sale of unpasteurized milk prohibited. No person, firm, association or corporation shall sell or distribute, offer to sell or distribute or possess with intent to sell or distribute any milk for human use or consumption in this city unless such milk has been pasteurized.
