(A) This is an optional service provided to city residents by the city.
(B) Collection of bulk brush shall be performed once per month on the last Monday. If the last Monday is a city holiday, pick-up shall be the following day, Tuesday. Pick-up shall not start before 6:30 a.m. and will not extend past 3:30 p.m. and will be collected on the same day throughout the city. Unforeseen emergencies may require alteration of the schedule.
(C) Bulk brush collection will be available from April through November and for Christmas trees only during the second week of January only.
(D) Operation of the optional bulk brush program.
(1) Bulk brush will be placed at the same location as garbage pickup. Bulk brush will not be picked up if the bundle contains any material other than bulk brush. Failure to comply with this provision will be considered a violation of this chapter.
(2) Only tree and bush limbs and branches, sticks and twigs are acceptable. All brush should be neatly stacked and no longer than 60 inches. No brush will be picked up if not neatly stacked and within the proper length.
(3) No tree stumps larger than 12 inches across will be picked-up. No limbs or logs larger than six inches across or 18 inches long will be picked up.
