§ 53.01 INTENT.
   Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-19-1 et seq., the city can manage solid waste or enter into contracts for the management of solid waste. This chapter will set out rules, regulations and penalties pertaining to the management of solid waste. Rates for service shall be established by the City Council from time to time by ordinance.
