§ 52.091 USE OF STORM DRAIN SYSTEM.
   (A)   No person shall discharge or deposit any of the following described waste materials into any storm drain system:
      (1)   Liquid waste materials that contain more than 100 parts of oil or grease per million parts, determined by weight.
      (2)   Liquid waste material in which the suspended solids exceed 250 milligrams per liter.
      (3)   Any petroleum product or other product which by reason of its nature or quality may cause a fire or explosion or in any way be injurious to persons or to the sewage system.
      (4)   Any industrial waste with a pH of less than 5.5 or greater than 9.0.
      (5)   Any industrial waste with a five-day biochemical oxygen demand of more than 200 milligrams per liter.
      (6)   Any industrial waste containing any toxic or poisonous substance in a sufficient quantity to interfere with the biologic processes used in the sewage treatment process or that will pass through the sewage treatment plant and harm persons or aquatic life in the receiving stream.
      (7)   Any nonshredded garbage, scraps or vegetables.
      (8)   Any straw, ashes, cinders, shavings, butchers' offal, rags, feathers or any other material capable of causing obstructions, nuisance or injury to or interference with the sewerage system.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to connect or cause to be connected any drain carrying or to carry any toilet, sink, basement, septic tank, cesspool, industrial waste or any fixture or device discharging polluting substances to any storm water drain in the city.
