(A) Any maintenance or repair work performed by the Sewer Department of the city on any sanitary sewer lateral shall be paid for by the owner or the occupant (both of whom shall be liable for the cost thereof) of the property served by such lateral at the currently going hourly rate published by the city.
(B) The city shall only be responsible for costs and expenses for maintenance and repair of any sewer line or sewer main or sewer lateral to the property line of the owner or user. The city shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses for maintenance or repairs of a sewer lines or sewer laterals located on the property owned by the user or the owner.
